1004-mediumWorld famous trance DJ Armin van Buuren comes to Sofia on February 7th. The last party in Bulgaria – Armin ASOT 600 was completely sold out and garnered over 9,000 fans. Forecasts for ARMIN ONLY are even higher. The show will be part of the Armin Only Intense Tour – the largest project ever made by DJs – that was announced in October. The event will take place in the multifunctional Arena Armeec Hall in Sofia. Bulgaria is one of the 20 destinations that Armin van Buren would visit. And Sofia is the only city in the Balkans and one of the few in Europe that will have the privilege to see this show live. Sofia is also the only Balkan city where the DJ comes for a second show.  Tickets for the first dates of the tour Armin Only Intense were sold a few days after putting them on sale.

The spectacular show party will be given three scenes for six hours straight. Armin himself will stand behind the decks in the first seconds of the start of the party. No warm-up DJ, but a team of nearly 20 artists, including musicians, singers, acrobats and dancers, it promises real spectacle.

Armin talks about the concept by explaining, “Unlike today, now that it’s all based on short sets and quick highlights, it used to be all about the long sets, the musical trips. That’s what Armin Only is based on – to take the clubbers on a 6+ hour journey into music. Through the Armin Only – Intense shows, I can tell them the full story of my ‘Intense’ album – in fact of everything I’d like to say.”1004-mediumСветовноизвестният транс DJ Армин ван Бюрен се завръща в България. След абсолютния успех на Armin ASOT 600 миналата година холандският DJ включи София и в следващият си проект – турнето Armin Only Intense – най-мащабното DJ представление правено някога. Спектакълът ще бъде изнесен на три сцени в зала Арена Армеец и ще продължи над шест часа. Самият Армин ще застане зад пулта в началото на шоуто, без подгряващи Dj-и.  Екипът включва също близо 20 артисти, включително музиканти, певци, акробати и танцьори, Армин ще се погрижи да станем свидетели на зрелищe.

The iconic jumbo jet becomes impractical for most airlines. Boeing has already cut its production twice but marketing chief Randy Tinseth believes there is still future for the legendary 747.

Култовият джъмбо джет скоро може да бъде само част от историята на въздухоплаването. Тази година няма нито един продаден самолет и Боинг вече намали производството си два пъти. Повечето авиокомпании вече не искат големи самолети – те горят прекалено много гориво,а и няма достатъчно пътници, които да ги напълнят . Авиолиниите вече летят с по-малки самолети по няколко пъти на ден. Новите технологии дават на джет само с два двигателя възможност за полет на същото разстояние с по-малко гориво .

747 някога се открояваше , с повече места от всеки друг самолет , както и прелет от 6000 мили, повече от всеки друг самолет. Преди този самолет международните пътувания бяха предимно ограничени до тези, които могат да си позволят скъпите полети . 747 променя това . Първите 747 побират два пъти повече пътници, от предпочитан международен самолет преди това –  Боинг 707 . Това прави два пъти по-евтини билети и почивката , от друга страна на Атлантическия океан вече не е запазена само за богатите. В днешно време има много по-достъпни полети. И повечето туристи искат повече полети от които да избират. Това не означава, че Боинг 747 отива в миналото. От Боинг казват, че са ангажирани с 747 , и вижда пазар за тях в региони като Азия. Главният маркетинг мениджър Ранди Тинсет казва, че икономическия спад от последните пет години е навредил на продажбите на 747. “Пазар ще все пак ще има ” казва той. Дори ако това не стане, почитателите на 747 могат да са спокойни . Повечето самолети издържат три десетилетия и повече , така че ще виждаме 747 в небето още дълго време . А след реконструкцията от 2006г. летище София също е пригодено за полети на всеизвестния 747.

The gold-domed Alexander Nevsky Cathedral was built in the early 20th century in memory of the 200,000 Russian, Ukrainian, Belorussian and Bulgarian soldiers, who died in the Russo-Turkish War, 1877–1878. It is one of the largest Eastern Orthodox cathedrals in the world. The cathedral’s gold-plated dome is 45 m high, with the bell tower reaching 50.52 m.

The St. Alexander Nevsky Cathedral (Bulgarian: Храм-паметник „Свети Александър Невски“, Hram-pametnik „Sveti Aleksandar Nevski“) is a Bulgarian Orthodox cathedral in Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria. Built in Neo-Byzantine style, it serves as the cathedral church of the Patriarch of Bulgaria and is one of the largest Eastern Orthodox cathedrals in the world, as well as one of Sofia’s symbols and primary tourist attractions.The St. Alexander Nevsky Cathedral in Sofia occupies an area of 3,170 square metres (34,100 sq ft) and can hold 10,000 people inside. It is the second biggest cathedral located on the Balkan Peninsula after the Cathedral of Saint Sava in Belgrade.

The Alexander Nevsky Cathedral is a cross-domed basilica featuring an emphasized central dome. The cathedral’s gold-plated dome is 45 m high (148 ft),

with the bell tower reaching 53 metres (174 ft).The temple has 12 bells with total weight of 23 tons, the heaviest weighing 12 tons and the lightest 10 kilograms (22 lb). The interior is decorated with Italian marble in various colours, Brazilian onyx, alabaster, and other luxurious materials. The central dome has the Lord’s Prayer inscribed around it, with thin gold letters.
